Weapons Screening at PAC on Nov 20
In accordance with the聽UIS Policy on聽Weapons Screening at the UIS Performing Arts Center, we are once again implementing a weapons screening at the UIS Performing Arts Center in the Public Affairs Center (PAC) building. This screening will be on Sunday, Nov. 20, for the sold-out John Mulaney comedy show.聽The building lockdown and patron screening activity will occur from approximately 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

November is a month focused on gratitude, and as I reflect on my first few months as your chancellor, my appreciation for my new role grows and grows. UIS is a place where students come first, and to see that displayed in how you approach your work is so inspiring. Lily Stanton of Jenks, Oklahoma awarded a $28,000 scholarship from the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield
Lily Stanton of Jenks, Oklahoma, a senior at Jenks High School, has been admitted to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $28,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, she will play on the women鈥檚 golf team.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
Biennial Job Description Update 2022
Per the State University Civil Service System statute, all Academic Professional and Civil Service job descriptions are required to be reviewed and updated at least every three years, including the signatures of the incumbent and supervisor. In order to comply with this statutory mandate, UIS must collect job descriptions by the end of this calendar year. We are excited to utilize our new JDXpert system for this process. Samuel Moore of Moweaqua awarded a $28,000 scholarship from the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield
Samuel Moore of Moweaqua, a senior at Central A&M High School, has been admitted to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $28,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years. At UIS, he will major in accounting.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
At Central A&M High School, he is a member of the student council, student government, National Honor Society and the scholastic bowl team.
