UIS to offer more than 50 accelerated courses starting March 20
The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield will offer more than 50 accelerated courses in a variety of formats, including online and on-campus, for prospective and current students. All classes will begin Monday, March 20, and will conclude in May.
鈥淭his is a great opportunity for new UIS students to start or finish their education,鈥 said Vickie Cook, UIS vice chancellor for enrollment and retention management. 鈥淚t鈥檚 also a chance for current students to add to their course load and potentially earn their degree in a shorter period of time.鈥
PAR seeks former students for alumni panel, journalism camp
The Public Affairs Reporting program is looking for former students to assist with two events happening at and around UIS in the months to come.
1. On April 20 at 3 p.m., the UIS School of Communication and Media (the academic unit that includes PAR) is hosting an alumni panel discussion to highlight what alumni are doing with their degrees. This opportunity is open to PAR alums who are journalists OR have related careers, like PR or lobbying. The event is at UIS.
Banner Availability on Feb. 11 and Feb. 12 Reminder
We wanted to remind you that this weekend (Saturday, February 11 and Sunday, February 12, 2023), AITS will be conducting a maintenance event on our production data center which necessitates Banner and related applications to be unavailable during two periods of time. On both Saturday and Sunday of the upcoming weekend, services will be unavailable starting at 6:00 AM each morning and will be available again by 6:00 PM each evening.
