Foot in the Door Fair - Employer Registration Open
Employer registration is open for the UIS Foot in the Door Fair set for Thursday, August 31, from 3-5 pm in the Student Union Ballroom. This event is focused on promoting on-campus jobs, part-time jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities and to promote opportunities for networking and relationship building between students and campus and community partners.

Andrew Synoradzki awarded a $8,000 scholarship to attend the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield
Andrew Synoradzki of Ballon, County Carlow, Ireland, has been admitted to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for Fall Semester 2023 and awarded a $8,000 Lincoln Merit Scholarship for tuition over four years.
The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements.
A recent graduate of FCJ Secondary School, he will major in marketing at UIS and play on the men鈥檚 soccer team.

Ardis Livingston named the UIS Employee of the Month for July 2023
Ardis Livingston has been named the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Employee of the Month for July 2023. He is an electrician for UIS Building Maintenance.
His supervisor, Chuck Coderko, said he always demonstrates a high level of commitment, expertise and professionalism as an electrician.
