The next Civil Service Advisory Council (CSAC) meeting is Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10:00 am. Below is the link to the Zoom meeting and the agenda. We will have a special presentation on the budget and fiscal operations of the University by Dr. Ken Kriz, Interim Vice-Chancellor for Finance & Administration.

The Major Dilemma: What should I major in?
The article encourages students that are questioning what to major in to look at their personality, interests, past experiences and future goals. At the end of the article, there is a quiz that readers can take to give more guidance about the type of major would suit them best.
APAC the House on Dec. 7 for UIS Women's & Men's Basketball
Join us as we pack the house for our women鈥檚 and men鈥檚 basketball teams! While this event is called APAC the House, of course we鈥檇 be more than happy to welcome our civil service and faculty colleagues. Admission is FREE for employees and children 12 and under. All general admission is $8 for other family and friends above 12 years old that wish to attend.

Avery Beausoleil enjoys the tight-knit community and interactions with professors at the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield. Beausoleil is a part of the Capital Scholars Honor Program (CAP) and is a student worker at the Cox Children鈥檚 Center. Beausoleil chose UIS for the campus size and CAP honors program. Following graduation, they plan to become a middle school teacher.
