        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  will  hold  its  54th  annual  commencement  during  three  ceremonies  in  the  UIS  Performing  Arts  Center’s  Sangamon  Auditorium  on  Friday,  May  9  and  Saturday,  May  10.  A  total  of  1,071  students  will  participate  in  the  ceremony  out  of  the  1,587  students  who  are  eligible  to  graduate.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  women's  tennis  team  closed  out  the  regular  season  with  a  pair  of  close  losses  to  tough  GLVC  opponents  over  the  weekend.  The  Prairie  Stars  finished  the  season  with  a  1-11  overall  record  and  a  1-4  mark  in  conference  play.

Prior  to  the  match  on  Saturday,  the  team  honored  its  seniors  —  Carmen  Llopis  Fabra,  Kamila  Kalinowska,  and  Piper  Schrepferman  —  with  a  pre-match  recognition  ceremony.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  baseball  team  earned  another  series  win  at  Southwest  Baptist  on  Saturday,  clinching  a  GLVC  tournament  berth  with  10-2  and  9-4  wins.  The  Prairie  Stars  remain  in  the  No.  2  spot  in  the  GLVC  standings.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  UIS  women's  golf  team  advanced  to  the  match  play  semifinals  at  the  GLVC  Championship  for  the  second  time  in  three  years.  Competing  as  the  No.  4  seed,  the  Prairie  Stars  faced  top-seeded  UMSL  in  Sunday  morning's  matchup.</div>
