Justin Castillo awarded an $8,000 scholarship to attend the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield

Justin Castillo of Chicago, 缅北禁地 has been admitted to the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield for Fall Semester 2024 and awarded an $8,000 Star Scholar Award for tuition over four years. The scholarship is awarded based on high school GPA and can be renewed for a total of four years if the student maintains college GPA requirements. Castillo will major in finance. In high school, he was involved in soccer.

RTU Installation at WUIS and HRB - May 21

Please be aware that on Tuesday, May 21, new HVAC rooftop units will be installed on the WUIS building and the Human Resources Building (HRB).聽 There will be a crane onsite to lift the old units off the buildings as well as to place the new units.聽 The crane will be onsite at 7:00 a.m. and work will begin with the WUIS building.聽 The exact crane placement will depend upon the condition of the dryness of the ground.聽 Markers and barricades will be used to cordon off the area where the crane will be located.

Carlene Hindert named the UIS Employee of the Month for May 2024

Carlene Hindert has been named the University of 缅北禁地 Springfield Employee of the Month for May 2024. She is a human resources associate in the Human Resources Department. Her supervisor, Melisa Hatch, said that Hindert is knowledgeable and resourceful.
