        <div  class="newsletter-txt">F&amp;S  will  be  repairing  the  concrete  steps  on  the  west  side  of  the  PAC  teardrop  entrance.  The  repairs  will  include  filling  cracks  and  crevices  as  well  as  replacing  crumbling  or  broken  sections.



Work  will  begin  this  week  and  is  expected  to  be  completed  mid-to-late  August.



The  steps  will  be  closed  during  the  work.  For  your  safety,  barriers  and  signage  will  be  placed  around  the  work  areas  so  please  use  caution  when  walking  in  the  vicinity.



We  appreciate  your  patience  as  we  work  to  enhance  campus  safety  and  infrastructure.

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Intercollegiate  Tennis  Association  (ITA)  announced  its  Scholar-Athletes  and  All-Academic  Teams  on  Tuesday.  The  UIS  men's  and  women's  tennis  teams  combined  to  produce  twelve  ITA  Scholar-Athletes,  and  women's  tennis  earned  the  All-Academic  Team  award.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  University  of  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  volleyball  team  earned  the  American  Volleyball  Coaches  Association  (AVCA)  Team  Academic  Award  for  the  third  consecutive  year  and  the  eighth  time  in  program  history.  The  Prairie  Stars  maintained  a  team  GPA  of  3.55  in  2023-24.</div>
