Juneteenth, celebrated on June 19, marks the anniversary of enslaved African Americans in Texas hearing the news of their emancipation."

Experts offer advice for students in limbo while waiting for FAFSA awards

"It seems students have been having issues with the new FAFSA this year ever since it became available in January.
Delays, however, in the FAFSA process are leaving some students in limbo especially heading into the summer months when deciding where to go to school.
There have been many complaints about students not receiving as much money as well as experiencing delays when it comes to receiving financial awards.
