UIS to host six ECCE Speaker Series events
The University of Ãå±±½ûµØ Springfield will host six Engaged Citizenship Common Experience (ECCE) Speaker Series events during Fall Semester 2024. The series presents events that promote and adhere to the value of engaged citizenship, cultural awareness and respect for diversity.
ECCE events that are free and open to the public include:
PAC Roof Replacement & Lot Closure
Work begins September 5 on the PAC Roof Replacement Project. Contractor equipment and materials will be staged in the lot on the southwest side of the building, near the loading dock and stage door.
For safety reasons, this lot will be closed to all non-contractor vehicles from September 4 to October 25, to provide a dedicated area for roofing crews to safely operate and work.
This week in UIS Athletics: Sept. 2-8
The fall 2024 regular season begins for the UIS men's golf, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's cross country, and volleyball teams this week. The women's soccer and cross country programs will host competitions on campus in the later half of the week.Â
