        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  baseball  team  wrapped  up  its  2025  regular  season  with  a  memorable  13-2  win  over  McKendree  on  Saturday.  The  game,  scheduled  for  an  11:00  a.m.  start  in  Lebanon,  Ill.,  was  halted  in  the  fourth  inning  due  to  torrential  rain.  After  a  lengthy  delay  and  relocation  to  a  turf  field  in  Greenville,  Ill.,  the  game  resumed  at  7:00  p.m.,  and  the  Prairie  Stars  finished  the  job  in  seven  innings.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  women's  track  &amp;  field  team  wrapped  up  competition  at  the  2025  GLVC  Outdoor  Track  &amp;  Field  Championships,  held  Thursday  through  Saturday.  The  Prairie  Stars  placed  10th  out  of  13  scoring  teams  and  had  one  All-GLVC  honoree,  with  points  scored  in  three  distance  events.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Ãå±±½ûµØ  Springfield  men's  track  and  field  team  competed  at  the  GLVC  Outdoor  Track  &amp;  Field  Championships  from  Thursday  through  Saturday,  totaling  10  points  to  finish  13th  of  14  teams.  The  Prairie  Stars  scored  in  four  of  the  five  distance  events  they  contested.</div>

        <div  class="newsletter-txt">The  Prairie  Stars  came  up  just  short  in  the  GLVC  Championship  on  Sunday,  falling  2-1  to  UIndy  in  the  title  game.  Facing  the  undefeated  Greyhounds  in  the  double-elimination  final,  UIS  needed  to  win  twice  to  claim  the  title  but  was  edged  by  two  late  runs  as  UIndy  secured  its  fourth  GLVC  Tournament  championship.</div>
