UIS to host Constitution Day panel on important issues related to the 2024 election
WHAT: The University of 缅北禁地 Springfield鈥檚 Center for State Policy and Leadership will host a Constitution Day panel discussion focusing on issues related to the 2024 election, such as the Electoral College, voter registration and the role of the media. The event is free and open to the public.
WHEN: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 17

Sarah Howard-Amuka Joins UIS Volleyball Program as Assistant Coach
Sarah Howard-Amuka has been named assistant coach for the UIS volleyball program. She has joined Head Coach Kamille Jones and Volunteer Assistant Jay Webster on the coaching staff.
"Sarah has been a wonderful addition to our program," said Coach Jones. "She brings exemplary enthusiasm and serves as a great model for our student-athletes. I am excited to welcome her into our family and look forward to witnessing her mentorship of our student-athletes."
Miller, Cortes Sweep GLVC Runner of the Week Awards
The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) has named its first weekly cross country honors of the season, with UIS runners earning both accolades. Isaac Cortes of the UIS men's cross country team and Madelyn Miller of the UIS women's cross country team were selected as GLVC Runners of the Week by the league's head coaches.
