Critical Need to Reduce Natural Gas Consumption
Dear UIS Campus Community,
The university needs everyone to help minimize natural gas usage on campus through next week.
The university has been notified by its natural gas supplier of a high likelihood that a natural gas Operational Flow Order (OFO) will be issued. While UIS works daily to reduce its carbon footprint and minimize natural gas consumption, this week presents an especially critical challenge. Any natural gas usage exceeding the university鈥檚 contractual allowance incurs significantly high costs during an OFO.
