The  Prairie  Stars  are  looking  to  build  momentum  after  a  strong  defensive  showing  in  their  win  over  Indianapolis  last  week. </div>

Dear  Students,  Faculty  and  Staff,



It  is  with  deep  sadness  that  I  share  news  of  the  death  of  former  UIS  Chancellor  Richard  D.  Ringeisen,  who  led  this  university  with  vision  and  dedication  from  2001  to  2010.  Chancellor  Ringeisen  passed  away  this  morning  in  South  Carolina.</div>
