        <div  class="newsletter-txt">UIS  Athletics  mourns  the  passing  of  Dr.  Richard  D.  Ringeisen,  former  UIS  chancellor  and  a  member  of  the  Prairie  Stars  Hall  of  Fame.  Ringeisen,  who  served  as  chancellor  from  2001  to  2010,  passed  away  on  Feb.  18,  2025,  at  age  80  in  South  Carolina.</div>
