Overview
This is a 4-week, instructor-led course. The purpose of this course is to explore a variety of technology tools used to develop current and dependable infrastructures that manage and support the online work of students, faculty, and administrators.
The main emphasis of this course is to introduce participants to issues concerning the use of technology and how to enrich the experiences of those using technology to deliver online programs. The economical, technological, and pedagogical pros and cons of technologies will be discussed.
Outcomes
As a result of completing course activities and interacting in discussion forums, participants will:
- Identify technology tools that meet specified needs.
- Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of implemented technologies.
- Leverage big data in the decision-making process.
- Manage relationships with technology support staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
